Alsam Movers is a licensed Illinois moving company based in Schaumburg, running our own trucks and W-2 crews across the Northwest Suburbs since 2014. We were built to fix one thing about moving in Chicagoland: the gap between the quote and the bill.
Why Marcus started Alsam
Owner Marcus Delgado grew up between Schaumburg and Hoffman Estates and spent years running trucks through Chicagoland for other outfits. He kept seeing the same two problems: hourly rates that ballooned on moving day, and crews that showed up late, short-handed, or not at all.
The idea behind the name
One flat written rate for the Northwest Suburbs, movers on payroll instead of day labor, and an early start that beats the snow and the I-90 rush. Marcus put his name on the trucks in 2014 and hasn’t changed the rule since.
